About Us

Young Hearts provides quality care and a safe environment in a beautiful facility for children ages six weeks through Pre-K (summer before Kindergarten). As a Monongalia County Schools Collaborative program for Pre-K children, our staff of educators and caretakers is equipped to help children learn and grow through active learning and a family-centered approach.

Our teachers meet or exceed the requirements for teaching in a child care center licensed by the state of West Virginia. We pride ourselves on positive relationships with parents and families whose children we are caring for. We know that the child's first teacher is their parent(s) and we love knowing that we are extending that experience for the children throughout the day while their parents are at work and/or school. We have an open site where parents are welcome to come in and out of the center to observe their children in their classrooms through our observation windows. Our number one priority is the safety and well being of each child as they grow and develop throughout the years, and one of our main priorities is for parents to feel at ease when their children are in our care.
